I agree with this.
One of the adults I look up to doesn’t have a career and has spent his life working different jobs in different fields. He spent three years as a lumberjack. He knows a lot of cool stuff that I could only ever dream of knowing. He’s happy and independent (and financially stable). And guess what? He didn’t get that way by picking some lame job and moving up the corporate ladder. He didn’t go to college. He made his own path.
